This Week In Fashion

Wow have I been M.I.A or what!?!?! Sorry fiends so much has been going on in my world but I'm back and I promise to never leave you for this long again......and oh how I've missed you!!! While I was away there has been so much going on in the fashion world and I'm so eager to share!! Rihanna has been around the globe and back looking fabulous, Michelle Obama is killing them fabulously and softly in Europe, retail stock has risen 4.3%, and Topshop has opened in NYC...yes my darlings a star is born!!

So let's talk about Topshop for a second... If you frequently visit Fashion Fiend then you are definitely aware that I almost always use Topshop pieces in my post. I've been anxiously awaiting the stores arrival since last fall, but my wait is now over. Once only available online to Americans, the fabulously fierce store, who's flagship store is in London, has opened a store in NYC.... right in SOHO and I'm on cloud nine!! Topshop is youthful, edgy and definitely on trend point. Owned by the Arcadia group, Topshop holds the worlds largest store in London and has stores in over 100 countries. They offer clothing and accessories for men and women and let me add the shoes are nothing short of fabulous. Their prices are a little higher than H&M, starting from $80 and up; but trust me when I tell you it's worth every penny. I'm kind of jealous about the store opening and all of Topshop's goodies being available to the masses, but I guess that's just the retail world. I haven't been to the store yet but I'll be going soon to break my non-existing bank!!! In other Fashion News.....Our girl Rihanna is on a fashion tour. She's been parading around looking uber fabulous and fashion forward. Gotta love this chick's style game. She knows her style and definitely feeds it to the fiends on a daily basis. As I said before, I don't know if I'm feeling her hair but I'm definitely feeling how she compliments each outfit with the current "it" girl shoe...Christian Louboutins better known on Fashion Fiend as Loubs....

While Topshop thought they would bring a taste of London to the U.S., Michelle Obama decided to show Europe how fabulous we really are in the "A" a.k.a America. Our first lady has been fabulously showing up and out, while our President is handling our business. Her style is so sick and full of sophistication....she leaves me speechless everytime. I really don't think they knew what they were in for in Europe. The Obamas are in town and everything is looking up...even the economy...Gotta love it in every way!!!
